Benefits of having a single-source personnel supplier

Current labor market is everything but simple. On one hand we have employers who are searching for quality staff, regardless of blue collar workers or managers, on the other hand, quality and loyal employees are scarce. AI is slowly but steadily taking over the human labor in certain industries, and some new generations which they do not share the work habits of their older supervisors are entering the work floor. Some even say that typical 9-to-5 jobs are slowly dying out. Turnover across all organizational levels is high, and many companies are faced with the issue of retention and motivation of their people. While there are organizations who recognize that they have this problem, very few actually take concrete actions to fix it.

Having several partners-suppliers for personnel is a common occurrence among businesses. Let’s take a food production company for example – of the total workforce, perhaps 60% are fixed employees employed directly on a company contract. These usually include office personnel and small number of variable production workers. Other 40% come from some type of external, outsourced channel. Temp agencies would provide a number of production workers, usually because they are suitable solution due to the unpredictability of the job itself where different volumes through times are expected, so it is natural to obtain some extra pair of hands in via an agency. KKS for example goes an extra mile here for it can deliver quality and skilled staff on a short notice, thus often being ahead of its competitors. Secondly, there are cleaning companies who do either office, building or industrial cleaning for the production site, then gardening companies to maintain the outdoor grounds if applicable. Transport in that sort of company would mostly always be outsourced. There might be nothing unusual in such labor division where each specialized organization does its thing, after all – who has the resources to run everything from the inside, right? Or, you might ask – even if that was the case, why would they?

A good management always looks ways to improvement, and even though the mentioned labor division usually runs pretty smoothly (or it does not) – a good leader will naturally try to make business processes better. Some things we just can’t avoid or have an influence on.  Supplier delays, dependence on their agendas, scheduling struggles, invoicing differences and issues, problems with delivery, flexibility, barriers in communication, the list is endless. Is it manageable? Sure, somewhat, but at what cost?  What is the hidden cost of time, energy, resource allocation? Wouldn’t it be easier to have everything from a single source? Flex workers, transport, cleaning – just imagine how having one supplier who does it all, and on top of that does it well, fast and is reliable can be a cost and time saver. KKS has a history of being a single source supplier for over 10 years in various European countries with the latest division opened in Marocco. Companies prefer KKS for it delivers quality people and service, immediately realizable, tailor-made for client needs. Products used by KKS are sustainable, innovative technology is used, ensuring that everything that has been done will always align with the latest trends. Additionally, KKS people are happy for they receive above-average social benefits. Everyone knows that a happy employee is a good employee. What it does is ensuring that fluctuation of employees is reduced, their motivation is thus high, and this leads to less no-shows, less sickness, and on a large scale – saved money. Special sickness management programs and workshops are implemented, so that early signs of sickness can be grasped on and taken care of on time. For additional security, if a sick employee needs to take days off, KKS does pool management and labor dynamics predictions to ensure that even if a person is on sick leave, a client is supplied with a replacement. Same holds true for holiday makers.

Change is inevitable, and even though work dynamics is a subject to uncertainty, we can be a step forward if we prepare ourselves on time by recognizing it.
